X-Line Schattberg
X-Line on the Schattberg
One of the longest freeride courses in Europe:
At a total length of over 6 km and dropping some 1,025 meters, the X-Line meanders its way down from the mountain terminal to the valley terminal on the Schattberg, making it one of the longest freeride courses in all of Europe. On this variety-packed and very natural trail, including numerous root passages, all bikers - from soul riders to downhill pros - find just what they had been hoping for.
In the upper section, bikers can look forward to a single trail with lots of flow, accompanied by fantastic views of the valley below. The section from the Schattberg mid station on down is somewhat more challenging, including many Northshore elements and tricky trails. Now almost at the bottom, you can choose between a more laid-back finish back to the valley terminal, or tackle the newly adapted adidas Slopestyle Run.
Length: 6.3 km, 1,025 vertical meters
Characteristics:
Full of variety, natural single trail across meadows, through forest, with jumps, root passages, as well as tricky technical sections. High fun factor for experienced bikers - but also lots of variants for pros.
